FOSTERED THROUGH BEAGLE RESCUE, NSW

Important: Please use the scroll bars on the right and carefully read ALL the information in this section before looking through the available beagles

The beagles listed below have either been surrendered to Beagle Rescue because their owners (for a genuine reason) have had to quickly find a home for them or have been rescued from a Pound or Shelter and are now being fostered.

Our beagles are not free, all of our foster beagles are available for an adoption fee which will be determined on an individual basis. Each beagle is Lifetime Registered and has been vet checked, desexed, microchipped, fully vaccinated, heartworm checked, wormed and flea treated. They will also have spent some time with their foster families to determine their suitability for adoption.

If you would like to adopt one of our foster beagles you must complete the ‘Application to Adopt a Beagle in Foster Care’ on-line form.  Once we receive your application it will be assessed and in some cases we may have further questions or wish to do a home inspection.

Applications are not on a ‘first come - first served’  basis, but rather, each application is matched to individual dogs and their needs and the most appropriate potential home is chosen. When a beagle comes to us we cross reference the needs of the beagle to the register of applicants to find exactly the right home for that particular beagle.  All our beagles will go on a trial basis to ensure that both he and the adoptive family are happy with each other.

If you are not offered the Beagle you have applied for it does not mean that you are considered unsuitable for any beagle but rather that we felt that particular beagle would be better suited with another family. Your details will be kept on file and we will let you know when another beagle has come into foster care.  If there is one that you think might be suitable then just send us a message to register your interest, you will not need to fill in the application form again.
